Support - Centre for Indigenous Theatre

The Department of Canadian Heritage: National Arts Training Contribution Program

The National Arts Training Contribution Program contributes to the development of Canadian creators and future cultural leaders of the Canadian arts sector by supporting the training of artists with high potential through institutions that offer training of the highest caliber. Centre for Indigenous Theatre gratefully acknowledges the support of the National Arts Training Program.

Student Support Program

Over the last year, The Centre has worked to create a student support program with the support of our private sector partners. Through the generous contributions of Baagating Community Association, BMO Financial Group, and the Suncor Energy Foundation, CIT has been able to establish a student bursary and emergency assistance program as well as continue to award the Paul Lauzon Scholarship, for a student in the Full-Time Program.

Funders

The Centre’s programs are generously supported by The Bank of Montreal (BMO), Canada Council for the Arts, Department of Canadian National Arts Training Contribution, Cultural Human Resources Council (CHRC), Miziwe Biik, National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation, Ontario Arts Council (OAC), Suncore (SEFC), Toronto Arts, Council (TAC), Canadian Heritage, Bagwaating Community Association, and Creative Trust.
